Driven by a passion for safeguarding her hometown, Ms. Diaz established BxProtects in 2022 to address the evolving security challenges in The Bronx and beyond. Before launching BxProtects, Ms. Diaz built an extensive career in security leadership. As the Head of Security for the nation’s largest Hispanic-led nonprofit organization, she was responsible for overseeing security operations at more than 30 high-risk properties across New York State, including affordable housing developments, transitional housing programs, and integrated medical facilities specializing in psychiatric and chemical dependency rehabilitation.

Ms. Diaz’s expertise is grounded in her 20-year tenure with the New York City Police Department (NYPD), where she retired as a Sergeant Special Assignment. Throughout her distinguished career, she served in critical roles within the Housing Division, Community Affairs Bureau, Tactical Training Unit, Dignitary Protection, and Intelligence Bureau, gaining invaluable experience in crime prevention, risk assessment, and crisis management.

Recognized as a leading expert in security strategy and community relations, Ms. Diaz has cultivated deep-rooted partnerships with government officials, law enforcement agencies, and private-sector leaders.
